Deep Heat Pain Relief Spray 150ml

Deep Heat Pain Relief Spray is a warming relief for muscular aches and pains or stiffness to be used on the skin.

It is an effective treatment for backache, fibrositis (muscle tenderness or stiffness), sprains and chilblains, sciatica and lumbago and also it can be used for rheumatic pain.

It helps to ease pain and stiffness by providing a warming sensation, that helps to relax and soothe the muscles, also loosen stiff joints. Deep Heat spray generates penetrating warmth in aching, injured and sore muscles. This helps to start to move knotted or painful muscles more easily. It also helps to encourage blood flow to the affected area, by re-oxygenating the tissues to help stimulate the natural healing process. 

No massage necessary.

Heat therapy helps to increase blood supply to relax and soothe before or after exercise.

Provide pain-relief when you experience:

• Minor sports injuries
• Bruises 
• Sprains 

Like all medicines Deep Heat Pain Relief Spray can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.

The following effects may occur, particularly if you have sensitive skin or if you use the spray in hot weather or after a hot bath:

• Temporary skin redness
• Burning sensation
• Swelling or blistering
• More severe allergic reactions, such as urticaria (itchy rash), and burns at application site, may occur.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet.

Stop using Deep Heat spray and tell your doctor if you experience excessive skin irritation or other unwanted effects.

Before using any medication, it is important to read the Patient Information Leaflet.

Deep Heat spray is suitable for adults and children over 5 years old.

• Use this medicine only on your skin.
• Shake can well before use.
• Always try on a small area first and use sparingly.
• Hold the nozzle not less than 15cm (6”) from the site of pain and spray in 2-3 short bursts.
• Massage not required.
• Wash hands immediately after use.
• Repeat up to 3 times per day
• Do not inhale.

Protect the face when spraying around the neck and shoulders. 

Stop using Deep Heat spray if you get excessive skin irritation or other unwanted effects.

If symptoms persist consult your doctor.

It can be used before or after exercise.

Not to be used in children under 5 years. 

Do not use:

• if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
• if you are allergic to pain relievers such as aspirin, ibuprofen or other anti-inflammatories
• on broken skin your eyes or other sensitive areas of skin.

• if you are pregnant – breastfeeding – asthmatic
• if you are taking medicines that thin the blood, prevent clots (e.g.aspirin) or any other prescribed medicines

Do not use after the expiry date. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Store below 25°c.

• Ethyl salicylate 5.0%
• Methyl salicylate 1.0%
• Methyl nicotinate 1.6%
