Online Clinic FAQ's

Is your Online Doctor Service safe?

Yes! We are regulated by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to sell medicines online.

We are also registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). In short, this means we are a regulated and authorised health provider that you can trust, both online and in our UK stores.

We source our online products from the same trusted wholesalers that we use for our physical stores. When you use our Online Doctor Service, you can be rest assured that our GP's are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). They are fully qualified to prescribe the safest and most effective products for your condition.

What does the Online Doctor assessment involve?

When you use our Online Doctor Service for a prescription as a UK patient, we will ask you to complete a confidential assessment about your health. This allows our GP's to make sure that what they prescribe for you is a safe and effective treatment for your condition.

Everyone is different, so just like an in-person appointment, it is important to give detailed and honest answers during the Online Doctor assessment. If you provide inaccurate information about your health or current medications, you could be recommended a less effective or safe treatment.

Once you have completed your assessment, our private GP’s will review your answers and recommend the most suitable treatments, where appropriate.

Is the Online Doctor service confidential?

Our entire Online Doctor Service is discreet and confidential. You do not need to worry about your medical information or personal data going astray.

Our online assessment form is fully secure. Your medical data and order history is only accessible by authorised employees who require the information to proceed with the service.

Do I need a prescription from my doctor to place an order?

You don't. You can have one of our registered private GP's (via our Online Doctor Service) create a prescription for you if it is appropriate, based on the information that you provide in your assessment.

Our team can then send the prescribed medication straight to you, no appointment required.

Can I order prescriptions on behalf of someone else?

With consent of the patient, you are able to aid them in filling out the assessment to access the service.

We do require the patient to be contactable however, in case we have any further questions about the answers submitted.

How long will it take to receive my prescription?

Once you have completed the Rightdose Online Doctor Service, our expert team of UK-based GP's will work to approve your selected treatments as soon as possible. You can view your order status within your account.

Orders over £25 are delivered for free with a signed-for delivery service.

Any orders less than £25 will incur a £3.99 standard delivery charge or £6.99 delivery charge for next day delivery before 1pm.

What are my delivery options?

If you order a prescription through our Online Doctor Service in the UK, we will ship it free using a DPD Signed-For Service for orders over £25.

Any orders less than £25 will incur a £3.99 standard delivery charge or £6.99 delivery charge for next day delivery before 1pm.

This ensures that your prescription is tracked all the way from our Pharmacy to your delivery address.

What's more, your delivery will require a signature, which reduces the risk of your prescription going missing if you're not in when it is delivered. Full tracking information will be sent to you when your prescription is dispatched, keeping you up to date as it makes its way to you.

You can find more information regarding delivery here.

Will the packaging be discreet?

It is common for some patients to feel embarrassed about a specific health product or condition and want to keep their order discreet.

Regardless of your situation or preference, we will ship your prescription in a discreet, brown box. It will have no information on it that eludes to what is inside.

Can I order repeat prescriptions through the Online Doctor Service?

Yes, you can order repeat prescriptions. We will just ask you to complete a quick online assessment each time to either update or confirm the accuracy of the medical information that you originally gave us.
