Numark Epsom Salts Original 450g

Numark Epsom Bath Salt is a great way to help aid the body in a natural process of soothing, relaxing tired and aching muscles after sports and exercise or simply a busy day.

It soothes the tired muscles and you can use it after your regular exercise routine. Sprinkle 1 or 2 handfuls of Epsom salt, while bathing ideally after exercise. For best results soak time 15-20 minutes.

A source of magnesium sulphate in a natural mineral combination recognised for its many therapeutic properties.

No added colours or synthetic fragrances.

Epsom Salt's origins began as one of the first natural spas in the UK, in the early 17th Century. Tradition tells that the water was discovered by Henry Wicker, a farmer who noticed that his cattle would not drink the water, and on tasting it himself noticed the bitter quality unlike ordinary water which is due to the rich mineral content.

Epsom soon became renowned as a spa destination and people would flock from all over the country for up to a week at a time to drink the 'medicinal, healing waters' from the Epsom well.

Although no longer sourced in Epsom due to the well-being closed in the early 20th century, Magnesium and Sulphate are found in many natural sources and have since been combined and used widely in medicine and healthcare for a wide variety of applications.

Storage information:

Keep sealed in a cool, dry place as over time salt can attract moisture. Place away from direct sunlight.

• Do not store above 25°C.

This is a natural product, so there can be variation in the colour and texture.

Directions:

• Add salts to a warm bath (37-39°C is ideal). 
• Relax and soak for at least 15-20 minutes.
• For your regular exercise routine, use around 1-2 handfuls of Epsom salt, 2-3 times per week, ideally after exercise.

Avoid contact with eyes.
