FAQ

Toofypegs can’t cure tooth decay, but here are some basic tips for good oral hygiene – the best way to prevent tooth decay.

Brushing

Brush your teeth at least twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. Rinse with mouthwash every time you brush.

Flossing

Flossing removes plaque & food from between your teeth and under the gumline – for best results clean between your teeth with floss every day.

Diet

Try to avoid fizzy drinks, coffee/tea with sugar, chocolate/sweets, cakes/crisps, biscuits/white bread. Better alternatives are cheese, fruit/veg, sugar-free gum, unsweetened tea, coffee or water.

Side Effects

Like all medicines, Toofypegs can cause side effects, however, this may be less likely.

  • Do not use it, if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
  • If you are experiencing any throbbing pain or swelling in infected areas, do not use Toofypegs Tooth Repair Kit.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, our Rightdose pharmacists or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet.

You can help to make medicines safer by reporting any side-effects to the Yellow Card Scheme at www.mhra.gov.uk/yellowcard.

This product is for emergency use only and you should see your dentist as soon as possible.
