Kalms Day is a natural herbal remedy used for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with stress and mild anxiety; based on traditional use only.

Stress and anxiety can have a significant effect on your daily life.

Kalms Day  helps you to deal with stressful situations like exams, job interviews, driving tests, important meetings at work, medical tests and examinations or fear of flying, heights, enclosed spaces.

• Valerian - Valerian is used to relieve restlessness and sleep disturbances
• Hops - The female flowers of the hop plant used in herbal medicine as a treatment for stress, restlessness and sleep disturbances

Kalms Day tablets contain a natural ingredient called valerian root, which is traditionally used to ease feelings of restlessness, relieve irritability, anxiety, and the stresses of everyday life. It is designed to be used during the daytime as a herbal remedy but they can also make you feel more relaxed and sleepy. This may have a positive effect if you are struggling to sleep at night. 

For adults and the elderly. Not recommended for children or adolescents under 18 years old.

Like all medications, Kalms Day tablets can cause side effects, although not everyone will experience them. These include:

• Stomach cramps have been reported with Valerian root preparations
• Gastrointestinal effects such as nausea
• The frequency is not known

If you experience these or any other side effects while using this product, stop use and speak to your doctor or our Rightdose pharmacist.

The sedative effects of this medicine may be increased by alcohol. Therefore alcohol should be avoided whilst taking this medicine.

Kalms Day may make you feel sleepy. If affected do not drive or operate machines.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet. Kalms Day Valerian Root Extract (84 tablets)

If you’re struggling with anxiety or stress during these times you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist and ask them to recommend a suitable treatment for you.

If you’re taking any other medication, including other herbal remedies and medications you obtained without a prescription, you should speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking Kalms tablets. Do not take this product if you are already taking medications for stress or anxiety or if you are already taking medication to help you sleep.

Do not take Kalms Day if you:
• are allergic to any of the ingredients 
• are pregnant or breastfeeding
• are under 18 years old
• are already taking a medicine for stress or anxiety
• are taking a medicine to help you sleep

Adults and the elderly: Take 2 tablets three times per day with water after meals. Swallow with a sip of water after eating a meal. 
Maximum daily dose is 6 tablets.

The effects of this medication may not happen straight away, so you should continue taking the tablets for 2 – 4 weeks. If you have not seen any improvement in your condition after 4 weeks of taking this product, stop use and speak to your doctor.

Kalms Day tablets are not suitable for use in children under the age of 18. Do not take this product if you are allergic to valerian root or any of the other listed ingredients. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, as this product contains sucrose.

Kalms Day tablets can make you feel sleepy. If affected do not drive or use any tools or machinery until you are sure that the effects have passed, and you are safe to do so.

Store in a cool, dry place which is 25 degrees C.

Do not take this product if the expiry date printed on the original packaging has passed.

Kalms Day tablets are not suitable for use in children under the age of 18. Do not take this product if you are allergic to valerian root or any of the other listed ingredients. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, as this product contains sucrose.

Kalms Day contain extracts of two herbs:
Valerian  - Valerian is used to relieve restlessness and sleep disturbances.
Hops - The female flowers of the hop plant used in herbal medicine as a treatment for stress, restlessness and sleep disturbances.

The active substance per coated tablet is: 33.75mg of extract (as dry extract) from Valerian root (Valeriana officinalis L.) (equivalent to 135 to 167mg of Valerian root) Extraction solvent: Ethanol 60%v/v

The other ingredients are:

Extract: Maltodextrin, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica.

Core: Hops Extract, Acacia (Spray-dried), Icing Sugar, Magnesium Stearate, Maize Starch, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Stearic Acid.

Coating: Acacia (Spray-dried), Calcium Carbonate (Light), Carnauba Wax, Mastercote White SP0950G, Talc, Sucrose, Titanium Dioxide E171, Yellow Beeswax.
