About Viagra Connect

Viagra Connect (sildenafil citrate) is an over the counter treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED). It is the first ED treatment to be licensed to treat erectile dysfunction without a prescription in the UK. Dosage

When taking Viagra Connect or any medication, be sure to read the information leaflet so you are aware of side effects or cautions.

The following dosages, timings and advice apply to taking Viagra Connect

DO

• Take ONE tablet, approximately an hour before sexual activity. This gives the medication time to be absorbed in to your system

• Swallow whole and with a glass of water. Taking after a meal can delay the onset of action of the drug (Sildenafil). It's best to take your dose on an empty stomach.

DON'T

• Take with food if you can help it. This may reduce the effectiveness.
• Take with alcohol, particularly more than 2 units. This is also likely to reduce effectiveness.
• Take more than the stated dose (ONE tablet). Taking more than this can result in serious side effects.
• It should be noted that Viagra Connect still requires sexual stimulation to be effective. You should not
• expect to achieve an erection in the absence of sexual stimulation.
