Cetraben Ointment 125g

Cetraben ointment intensely moisturises and softens dry skin cases of psoriasis, eczema and other dry skin conditions.

Hydrates the skin by locking in moisture and with its rich formulation calm symptoms of dermatitis, problematic, dry, sensitive or eczema prone skin. 

Cetraben can be applied at any time throughout the day but preferably at night. Applying Cetraben ointment at night allows the skin time to absorb and protect the skin from irritants.

Suitable for adults and children over 1 year.

• It does not contain fragrance, SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate), colouring, additives or preservatives.
• Cetraben may also be used as a skin cleanser or bath additive. 
• Dermatologically tested and animal cruelty free.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Using Cetraben ointment during pregnancy and breastfeeding is unlikely to have any ill effects. If unsure, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.

Adults, the elderly and children over 1 year:

• Wash hands before and after use.
• Apply to dry skin areas as often as required, always making sure the area is well covered.
• Smooth gently into the skin following direction of hair growth.
• Avoid vigorously rubbing the cream in as this could cause itchy skin and make your skin hotter.
• Apply your moisturiser before and after you bathe or shower to protect against dry skin.

As a bath additive: Melt about 4g (roughly a teaspoonful) of Cetraben ointment in hot water in a suitable container. Then add to the bath ensuring that the water has sufficiently cooled before getting in.

As a soap substitute: Take a small amount of Cetraben ointment from the tub, lather it under warm water and use as required when washing or in the shower. Pat skin dry.

• Avoid contact with eyes.
• Baths and showers may become slippery. Take care not to slip. Clean away any residues with household cleaner using warm water.

This product contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions.

Hazards and Cautions

Fire hazard. Do not smoke or go near naked flames. If this product comes into contact with dressings, clothing and bedding the fabric can be easily ignited with a naked flame. You should keep away from fire when using this product.

Do not store above 30°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Do not use after expiry date.

Ingredients: Light liquid paraffin 45% w/w, white soft paraffin 35% w/w, cetostearyl alcohol and polysorbate 60.

This product contains cetostearyl alcohol which may cause local skin reactions.
