Curanail Medicated Nail Lacquer 5% w/v 3ml

Curanail is for the treatment of mild fungal infections in up to two finger nails or toe nails.

Signs of a mild fungal toe or finger nail infection include:

• Thick or brittle nails that are discoloured (white, yellow or brown)
• Infection spreads slowly     

Curanail contains the active ingredient Amorolfine, which is a strong anti-fungal - kills fungal infections.

Curanail 5% medicated nail lacquer, used weekly will treat fungal infections affecting the upper half or sides of the nail in up to two nails, by penetrating the nail and breaking the structure of the fungal cells.

Curanail is clinically proven to prevent further spread of infection.

Pack contains:

• 1 bottle (3ml) of nail lacquer with applicator cap
• 30 cleaning swabs
• 30 nail files

Do not use curanail and speak to your doctor or pharmacist if:

you are allergic to amorolfine or any of the other ingredients in this medicine (see the Package Leaflet)
your nail is moderately or severely damaged or infected
you are pregnant, might become pregnant or are breast-feeding
you have poor blood circulation in your hands or feet
you have pain or swelling around the nail
you have more than 2 infected nails
you have a weak immune system
you are under the age of 18
you have diabetes

Curanail Medicated Nail Laquer 5% w/v

Suitable for adults over the age of 18 years with a mild fungal nail infection.

Treatment time: 6 months for finger nails. 9-12 months for toe nails.

Use the medicine once a week.

Continue treatment until the infection has cleared and healthy nails have grown back.

You should check how the treatment is working every 3 months and if the infection is the same or worse then talk to your pharmacist or doctor.

• File down the nail infected nails.
• Cleanse your nail with a clean swab.
• Apply the treatment.
• Let it dry for 3 minutes.
• Keep the bottle tightly closed after use.
• Nail varnish may be applied after 10 minutes.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet provided.

Keep the pack away from heat and do not store above 30°C.

 

Do not use on if you have 2 or more infected nails.
Do not use on severely infected nails.
Not suitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
