Extra Strength Regaine® is a solution that contains the active ingredient minoxidil in a mixture of alcohol, propylene glycol and water. For best results, you need to apply the treatment twice a day - preferably once in the morning and once at night. Don't miss any applications. To start the treatment, you first need to make sure the scalp is dry and that the skin is healthy and intact. Next, use the dropper to apply 1 mL of Regaine® to the hair thinning area of your scalp. Then you need to lightly massage the solution into your scalp. How to Use the Dropper Remove the large outer cap from the bottle; unscrew the child resistant cap. Hold the bottle upright. While making sure that the dropper is immersed in the solution, squeeze the bulb to fill the dropper to the black line. The applicator now contains one full dose (1 mL) of Regaine® and is ready for use. Aim the dropper to the area of the scalp you wish to treat, lifting any hair out of the way with your fingers or comb. Gently squeeze the dropper bulb and apply the solution.
